"Growing up a dreamer as we all did and still is dreaming. A back in the day rapper once said you must have a wicked jump shot or sell crack rock to get out the hood which is feather from truth! Doing this painting I wanted to show that no matter your circumstances always strive for the best because dreams do come true."

Keith Andrews is a 45-year-old artist serving a life sentence that began at the age of 18. Through his paintings, Keith pours his deepest thoughts and feelings into each work, finding a sense of freedom that reminds him of life before incarceration. As a father and grandfather, he is committed to creating a legacy for future generations. Art is his way of changing the narrative and positively investing in his community, embodying his desire to inspire and advocate for social justice reform.
